We are looking for people that are positive, flexible, friendly, reliable, trustworthy and committed. If you are passionate about promoting people’s choices and independence, we’d like to hear from you. Support worker – Day and/or Night shifts: To support TENANTS with learning disability - previous experience not essential as we provide comprehensive induction and training. Many of our Tenants have profound and multiple learning and physical disabilities. Although your role is to encourage them to be as independent as possible, in practice you will have to give them regular, and sometimes intensive, day-to-day support. This includes helping them to get up in the morning and assisting with personal care tasks. The people we support live in their own home. Our staff support people in all aspects of their daily lives. It is a very rewarding job. Staff get an enormous sense of satisfaction from helping people to live fulfilled lives and from helping them to become more independent. Every day is different, depending on the activities that the Tenants want to do – from running their home, shopping, leisure and social activities, and further education and employment.
Our staff enjoy:
  • Competitive rates of pay
  • A comprehensive training programme that includes working towards externally recognised qualifications
  • Opportunities to develop their career in a rewarding and supportive environment
  • The chance to make a real difference to the lives of people that have a disability
Our staff are:
  • Passionate about enabling people to live the life they want
  • Positive, flexible, friendly, reliable, trustworthy and committed to promoting people’s choices and independence
  • Willing to learn new skills in order to deliver excellent, person-centred support
  • User-focused – they recognise that the Service Users determine who provides their support and how it is delivered

We are an equal opportunity employer
